This policy explains what information Tattvik ("we", "us") collects when you use the website and the application at app.tattvik.ai (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to help students learn.

- Learning activity — revision progress, practice and exam answers, scores, and topic mastery.
- Parent linking — where a parent links to a student, the relationship between those accounts.
- Technical data — basic device and usage information needed to run and secure the Service.

- To personalise teaching — explain concepts, generate practice, and track mastery.
- To produce progress reports for students and linked parents.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To contact you about your account or the pilot.
3. Children & parents
The Service is designed for school students. Where a student is a minor, we rely on parental or guardian consent obtained at registration. Parents can view a linked child's learning in a read-only capacity, and can request access to or deletion of their child's data by contacting us.
4. AI processing
To provide explanations, generate questions, and grade answers, learning content and the responses you submit are processed by AI systems. We use this data to deliver and improve the learning experience. We do not sell personal data, and we take steps to limit what is shared with any third-party AI providers to what is necessary to operate the Service.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Service (such as hosting and AI processing) under appropriate safeguards, with linked parents/guardians as described above, or where required by law.
6. Security & retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and retain it only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law. When no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.
