1. About these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Tattvik learning platform, including the website and the application at app.tattvik.ai (together, the "Service"), operated by Tattvik ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Eligibility & accounts
The Service is intended for school students and their parents or guardians. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
- You agree to provide accurate registration details, including board and grade.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.
- A parent or guardian may link to a student account to view progress in a read-only capacity.
3. The free pilot
The Service is currently offered as a limited pilot, beginning with CBSE Grade 8 Science. Pilot participants who sign up during this period receive one year of free access from activation. Additional grades and subjects are under development; registering your interest does not guarantee a specific availability date. We may change pilot scope, features, or the offer with reasonable notice.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service for genuine, personal learning. You agree not to:
- share, resell, or provide access to your account to others;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service;
- upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content; or
- misuse the AI tutor to generate content unrelated to your learning.
5. Learning content & AI
The Service uses AI to explain concepts, generate practice questions, and grade responses. AI-generated explanations and grades are provided to support learning and may contain errors; they are not a substitute for a teacher's instruction or official assessment. We continually work to improve accuracy but do not warrant that all content is error-free.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, brand, and original content are owned by Tattvik and protected by applicable laws. Syllabus and reference material remain the property of their respective owners and are used to support learning. You retain ownership of the answers and work you submit; you grant us a limited licence to process it to operate and improve the Service.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Service is provided "as is" during the pilot. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes such as exam results. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes & contact
